A celebration of the Spanish heritage in music, this evening features Spanish Language School choir conductor Francisco “Paco” Alvarez-Diaz and the Middlebury College Choir performing Spanish art songs, folk songs from Latin America, a new work by Middlebury senior Fiona Sullivan ’19, two Spanish choral settings by Middlebury music faculty member Peter Hamlin ’73, and melodies from the medieval “Cantigas de Santa Maria.” Free
