Pets and Pizza! A conversation and dinner with Dr. Munschauer

Join the Pre-Health Society and Dr. Thomas Munschauer from the Middlebury Animal Hospital for a casual pizza dinner! Learn about the progression of veterinary medicine and hear stories from a small-animal vet. Dr. Munschauer has been a practicing veterinarian for almost 40 years and is excited to share his depth and breadth of knowledge with us! We welcome anyone who wants to learn more about animals and hear some great stories! A casual presentation will begin at 6pm, and conversation will continue into dinner from American Flatbread (gluten free and vegan pizza will be provided).

Global Medical Training (GMT) Information Session

Information will be provided about Global Medical Training (GMT). The Pre-Medical Society is planning a trip in the Spring. GMT is an international, non-profit, and humanitarian organization that provides free medical and dental services in developing communities in parts of Central America and Mexico. Students that go on a GMT trip are given the unique chance to directly observe diagnoses and treatments performed by medical professionals, even helping ask questions and take vital signs after being trained.
