As a visiting artist to the Studio Art program, Corin Hewitt will give a lecture regarding his previous works in NYC. He was born in Burlington VT and is an American sculptor and photographer. His work has been shown widely in the U.S. as well as Europe. He has had several US solo museum exhibitions including at the Whitney Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and The Seattle Art Museum. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Sculpture and Extended Media at Virginia Commonwealth University.
