This forum is focused on helping farm and food businesses access new markets while grappling with external pressures and learning how to benefit from or influence a new trend. Speakers will address the intricacies of opening up new markets between producers and buyers, current trends in farm and food production relationships & distribution variables with an emphasis on supporting Farm to Plate goals and ACORN’s mission.

Join us at The Knoll for a 2½-hour workshop of interactive and meditative activities based on the Work That Reconnects, pioneered by change-activist Joanna Macy. Experiencing and embodying our deep connection to and interdependence with Earth, all humans, and our whole selves is an essential act for the healing of our societies, ourselves, and sacred, living Earth.

This talk/discussion will be given by Michel Gueldry, PhD, a professor from Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Gueldry is visiting Middlebury as part of a One Middlebury grant received with Armelle Crouzieres-Ingenthron, J. Harvey Watson Professor of French, to work together on language and intercultural studies as applied to the USA and France.
