The Cyber Collaborative, in partnership with Cyber Security Working Group and Financial Crime Club, is supporting a trip to the RSA Conference College Day in San Francisco on 1 May 2025. This is the largest cybersecurity conference in the world and a great opportunity to learn more about the cybersecurity industry through direct engagement with top-tier professionals. Transportation is provided and entry to the conference for college students and participating staff/faculty is free!

Big Sur: The Way It Was” is the first major documentary made about Big Sur, it’s natural beauty, artistic community, encounter culture ways. It includes interviews with writers, artists, and intellectuals, such as Henry Miller, Eric Barker, Emil White, Harry Dick Ross, and Ephraim Donner as well as hippies, musicians, bikers, hitchhikers, tourists, and your everyday rugged individualist who call Big Sur home. It was filmed and produced by Robert Blaisdell, a native filmmaker of the Monterey Peninsula, who shot the footage of Big Sur and its inhabitants throughout the 1960s.

Join us for an inspiring evening with Alana DeJoseph, the acclaimed director of the Heartland Emmy Award-winning documentary A Towering Task. Alana will delve into the rich legacy of the Peace Corps, highlighting its profound impact on international development. Drawing from her documentary, she will explore the themes of sustainability and the future of global development, especially in light of recent challenges such as the reduction of USAID funding.

Mandatory graduating student information meeting for those planning to graduate in May 2025. Information surrounding commencement will be presented and graduating student speaker nominees will present summaries of their speeches. Join us in person at
Irvine Auditorium or join virtually via Zoom (link will be sent by email to all graduating students a few days prior to meeting).
