Guided Meditation for Faculty, Staff, and Students

Faculty, staff and students are welcome at these mindfulness meditation sessions. 30 minutes of seated mindfulness meditation with optional questions, answers and discussion. Various mindfulness techniques will be introduced and focused on throughout the semester. All sessions are led by Chessy Kelley, meditation instructor. Chessy has been leading meditation to people of all ages and faiths for 15 years. She has studied with numerous teachers for over 25 years, including His Holiness, The Fourteenth Dalai Lama.

Open Practice in Yang-style Tai Chi Quan. Join a group of tai chi practitioners in “slow set”, a 30-45 minute form. There is no instruction per se, but much can be gleaned through silent following. We’ll begin the set at 12:15. No registration necessary; drop-ins welcome. No charge. Sue Driscoll practices Yang-style Tai Chi Chuan and studies with the lineage holders of the Tung family, training in traditional forms, practicing daily and attending workshops several times a year.
