One of the highlights of the weekend! Listen to George Matthews, Jr., play the carillon as the classes march in reverse order up the hill to the chapel, beginning with the Class of 2021. Members of the Classes of 1951 through 2021 line up by 4:00 p.m. on Old Chapel lawn, next to their reunion year class banners. For those who cannot or do not want to walk in the parade, please join your class at the chapel steps.

The Carillon Concert Series features beautiful concerts from Middlebury Chapel’s bell tower. This special concert for Reunion will be played by Amy Heebner ’93, City Carillonneur, Albany, NY. 1000th Midday Carillon Concert Celebration

This event marks the 1000th lunchtime recital by Middlebury College Carillonneur George Matthew Jr., who has played for Middlebury for over four decades, and who teaches Middlebury College students the art of this unique musical form. Stop by to greet George on the Chapel steps, before he makes his way up to the carillon booth, high up in the Middlebury Chapel’s spire. Then stay to listen to his special program. Free and open to all.
