As part of the Carillon Series’ Fall Festival, George Matthew Jr. plays a beautiful concert from Middlebury Chapel’s bell tower, high above the College campus. Middlebury’s 214th Convocation celebrates the start of a new academic year, welcoming new students.

President Liebowitz will address the senior class and recognize graduates who have received national honors. Seniors are encouraged to attend Baccalaureate in Mead Chapel, and are strongly advised to arrive early. Due to limited seating, all others are invited to view a live broadcast of the service in either McCullough Social Space or Dana Auditorium in Sunderland Language Center. Those spaces offer padded seating and air conditioning (the chapel does not). Seating for parents and family is sometimes available in the chapel balcony on a first come, first served basis.

The Dissipated Eight and the Middlebury Mischords will be holding our semesterly Jambo concert! We would love to see you there and we hope you enjoy our wonderful music!
