Dr. Crister Garrett
Dr. Garrett is professor for American, Transatlantic, and International Studies and Director of the Institute for American Studies at the University of Leipzig. His teaching and research focuses on current political and economic transformations in the United States and Europe and their impact on transatlantic relations and global governance. He earned his PhD at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and has taught at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS) and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
