Vermont Library Day Celebration

Vermont Library Day was created by the State Legislature and signed into law spring of 2026, as Act 127. It will be held annually on the third Monday of October. The statewide observance recognizes libraries as essential community resources and honors the contributions of library workers across the state.

Join us for the inaugural Vermont Library Day on Monday October 19th, in the Davis Family Library Atrium between 3-4pm.

Enjoy a slice of cake, help us complete a quiet community puzzle, chat with Library Dean Rebekah Irwin, and enter your name to win a basket of library goodies, including a $20 gift card to Vermont Bookshop!
