"Babylon Berlin" with co-creator Henk Handloegten

The German Department is thrilled to welcome Berlin-based writer and director Henk Handloegten, co-creator of the German hit series “Babylon Berlin”. Join us for a pre-release screening of episodes 1 + 2 of the series’ fifth and final season. Set in spring 1933, shortly after Adolf Hitler’s rise to power, the show depicts Weimar Germany’s final and irrevocable descent into Nazism, viewed through the lens of detectives Gereon Rat and Charlotte Ritter who set out to solve one last fateful murder-mystery. Following our screening, Mr Handloegten will answer questions from the audience.

In English, everybody is welcome!
