Nonviolent Direct Action: theory & praxis
Want to learn more about social movement technology that powered the civil rights movement into the legacy that we know of today? Want to deepen connection, form community, and learn valuable skills? It’s time to talk about Nonviolent Direct Action!
Middlebury has a rich history and culture of NVDA; this training will familiarize ourselves with the cultures of direct action that are alive and well today in Vermont, as well as cover the basic tenets of NVDA. To tie it all up, we’ll have practical conversations about how this theory can be applied to our movement spaces in Middlebury, in Vermont, and beyond.
