Power Shift 2011 Kick-off Meeting

Calling all Middkids interested in climate change, environmental justice, energy, conservation, public policy, or activism! This spring, over 10,000 young leaders will converge on Washington, DC for Power Shift 2011, where we will stand together to reclaim our democracy from big corporations and push our nation to move beyond dirty energy sources that are harming the health of people and the planet. The four day conference will feature speeches from movement leaders, lobbying, workshops, lectures, and activist training, all with the goal of moving us towards a stable climate, a more equal society, and a better democracy. Two years ago, more than 200 Middkids attended Powershift 2009, setting the all-time attendance record.
