Putting Snow Back in the Snowbowl!

Middlebury is helping 350.org Connect the Dots!

Across the planet now we see ever more flood, ever more drought, ever more storms. People are dying, communities are being wrecked - the impacts we’re already witnessing from climate change are unlike anything we have seen before.

Ski resorts throughout Vermont have been hit hard by the snowless and warm winter. On May 5th, we will come together on the slopes of the Snow Bowl to take a photo of people holding a giant dot to draw attention to the abnormal weather patterns.

So join us for a day of environmental education and a WHITE OUT at the Middlebury College Snowbowl! There will be food, snow cones, face painting, music, speakers, and tables featuring local and campus environmental organizations. Bring your family, your friends, or even your dog. Don’t forget to where your favorite white shirt, and a smiling face!
