Connect With Your Community Resources
–
Virtual MiddleburyClosed to the Public
The Connect With Your Community Resources Open Meeting is a cross-campus effort that focuses on access, inclusivity, and the communal aspect of Middlebury experiences with discrimination, harassment or violence as an effort to change our campus culture.
This event is being held on Thursday, March 3 from 7:30-9 PM EST via a zoom webinar. This Open Meeting is being hosted by the SGA Relationship and Sexual Respect Committee and the SGA Junior Committee alongside Butterfly Blaise Boire, the Civil Rights and Title IX Coordinator. The purpose is to create a space for students to communicate with the support resources available and get their questions answered. The event hopes to equip you with the knowledge of the support resources available and empower you to engage in a conversation surrounding these resources.
The Meeting will begin with brief descriptions of the support available to you from each of the resources present and how their team works to create a safe Middlebury community. From there, we will move into a Q&A of previously collected questions from students for the panelists, and finally, we plan to open up the chat for a live Q&A for panelists. Resources present will include Counseling, Health Center, Public Safety, WomenSafe, Disability Resource Center (DRC), MiddSafe, ResLife, SPECS, Scott Center, Civil Rights & Title IX Coordinator, Human Relations Officer, Educational Outreach and Restorative Practices, International Student and Scholar Services (ISS), Violence Prevention and Advocacy Specialist. The event will be recorded and posted.
Submit questions in advance at go/CommunityResourcesSurvey/ and join the meeting on Thursday at 7:00 PM EST at go/ResourcePanel/.

You may also call 802-443-5141 to schedule an appointment with Middlebury counseling M-F, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. We are committed to ensuring that all members of the campus community can access and participate in our event.
