The AFC, the Center for Careers and Internships, Student Financial Services, the Creating Connections Consortium (C3) via Dr. Miguel Fernandez, Dr. Marcos Rohena-Madrazo, and Dr. Clinton Cave have partnered to bring you a week full of insight on preparing for your next step. Whether that “next step” is a summer job, an internship, major career planning, mentorship and networking, your graduate school application, or just preparing for fall semester—they will share all the steps you need to take and information about the resources available to you! Peer Career Advisors Zoey and Cindy will be around on Tuesday and Thursday from 2-5pm in the AFC Basement Lounge to continue those conversations and give you additional assistance.
Join us for an informal panel discussion about applying to graduate school and how to manage grad school as a BIPOC with a group of visiting University of Michigan graduate students. This is part of our affiliation with the Mellon-funded Creating Connections Consortium (C3). The fields that the grad students will represent are History, Anthropology, Musicology, and Linguistics, but they will share information that will be useful for students studying in any field.
