Students give posters on their semester-long work mapping global environmental governance in key areas. In doing so, they will show 1) how the international society has structured governance in important areas, such as coral reef management, transboundary pollution, and species conservation, by illustrating which are the major treaties/organizations/institutions affecting governance; 2) what some of the major challenges to governance are (e.g., lack of enforcement; unclear obligations; competing treaties/institutions); 3) what scope (if any) there is for improvement in this area. Refreshments will be served.
