Talk on “Regional Security Challenges: View from Georgia”

Guest Speaker: Kathryn Smart, staff interpreter.

Kathryn Smart will present the Court, how it fits into the EU structure, and the sort of cases the Court hears. She will also focus on languages and interpreting at the Court.
This “Meet the Court” session is also meant to be interactive and is mainly an opportunity for students to discuss with experienced staff interpreters. Therefore, students are invited to prepare and ask questions during the second hour of the talk.

TLM students are encouraged to attend the TLM Townhall (Pt 2) which is a follow up to the Fall Townhall and is an opportunity for early feedback in the semester. Townhall is a place for students to come and join a moderated discussion and give feedback about the TLM program. The Program Chair will be addressing the feedback implementations and updates from last townhall, as well. A pizza lunch and beverages will be provided to in-person attendees. Zoom will be available for remote attendees.
