Alumni Engagement

Come visit the Makerspace in Johnson to view a wide range of machinery, including vinyl cutters, a heat press, laser cutters, filament and resin 3D printers, a 3D scanner, and a six-axis industrial robotic arm! A demonstration will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The Knoll offers opportunities for academic involvement, community connections, and environmental stewardship. Summer interns will lead garden tours at 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. Enjoy the gardens and labyrinth, chat with current and former staff and interns, and take in the beauty of the Champlain Valley. You may drive or walk to The Knoll; if you walk, please be sure to follow the path through the solar panels—do not walk along Route 125.

After dinner, continue the fun in Nelson Arena with live music from Brad Corrigan and the Waves. Brad Corrigan ’96 of Dispatch is back at Middlebury, celebrating his 30th Reunion. Please remember to wear your lanyard, and be prepared to show ID at the bar. Shuttles will be available to and from the center of campus to Nelson.

Mingle with friends old and new on Battell Beach and grab a drink or a bite to eat before or after your class’s scheduled dinner. Enjoy tacos from Las Hermosas and pizza from American Flatbread’s mobile oven, as well as a bar with beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic options. Please remember to wear your lanyard, and be prepared to show ID at the bar.

Feel free to drop in if you need to get away.

A reception to thank and celebration Reunion volunteers and donors of the 1800 Society, Cane Society, and Women’s Giving Circle. By invitation only. 
Note: if you are in the 50th Reunion class, you will be picked up by the bus heading to Bread Loaf around 5:30 pm.

Alumni reading their class remarks should come to the chapel for a brief rehearsal of Reunion Convocation.

Gather with fellow members of the Class of 2006 to remember and honor the classmates who are no longer with us.

This Memorial will take place at the SMOG sculpture by McCardell Bicentennial Hall. 

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of games and activities!  Kids will have fun riding the Big Blue Express, the trackless train. There will also be airbrush tattooing, face painting, and a large selection of games.  Grab a “to-go” lunch at Proctor and enjoy the afternoon playing with the kids!
