Come to this session with Sarah Bidgood, Senior Research Associate and Project Manager at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) at the Middlebury Institute in Monterey, to learn more about careers and opportunities in the field of WMD nonproliferation. This session will focus on the Institute’s Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies MA program, the new J-term internship program, and the CNS’s Summer Undergraduate Nonproliferation Program. Several students who have participated in these programs will share their research and experiences. Bring your questions, all students welcome.

Come learn how to serve your country by working or interning in the intelligence community. Open to all students of any major or class year, but especially those interested in using language or STEM abilities. A few requirements: you must be a US Citizen and drug free 1 year before applying. Other considerations like work locations (in DC or overseas?) and impact of study abroad will be discussed. Also look in Handshake for opportunities to speak 1:1 with the 3 recruiters who are visiting. They are very interested in meeting you!

Members from the Center for Careers and Internships (CCI) will help you organize a proactive job search and develop professional relationships in your industry. Learn about resources for the arts, media, and communication careers. Arrive with your questions and leave with a check-list and a plan!

Join us for a panel of young alumni who secured employment in the USA after graduation using their OPT. Learn about the issues they wish they knew before graduation. What were some of their challenges? What are some lessons that they can pass along to current students going through a similar process? All class years are welcome and come with your questions!

Dr. Matthew Perchemlides, “Dr. Perch,” is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician and a specialist in integrative medicine, including Naturopathic Oncology and chronic disease. He completed his medical training at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM), a four-year CNME accredited Naturopathic Medical School, where he graduated first in his class.
