Are you interested in a career in language education? Maybe you want to be a language teacher? Or something else? In this session, we will explore a range of exciting pathways open to those interested in working in language education. We will also discuss the variety of learning opportunities within the greater Middlebury ecosystem that can provide you with the expertise you need in line with your professional aspirations.

The Center for Careers and Internships (CCI) works with students from their first year and all throughout their time at Middlebury to help assess their interests, gain experience, and develop a plan for the future. CCI’s advisors and resources focus on all areas of career exploration, from arts to technology to finance to education, and more. We host many information sessions and workshops each year that build skills and connect students with employers and alumni. CCI also helps with decisions such as choosing a major and finding and funding summer and winter term internships.

Held at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Tuck Business Bridge is a 3-week total immersion business program designed to prepare top liberal arts and STEM students for challenging careers. Learn all about it from Valerie Gutierrez ‘22 and Will Conroy.

This information session will cover the steps needed to find a winter-term internship, earn internship credit, and secure funding support from the CCI (limited grants available to students on financial aid OR for internships related to conflict transformation).
