A practicing psychiatrist at Harvard’s McLean Hospital and a longstanding member of the Harvard Medical School Admissions Committee, Dr. Menninger will speak broadly as to what makes for a competitive medical school candidate. She’ll provide us with general insights into how an admissions committee reviews an application, and what makes for an effective and compelling personal statement. Dr. Menninger will share her thoughts on what makes a candidate stand out in a sea of applicants. We’ll finish the hour with a chance to ask Dr. Menninger questions.

Max Kagan ‘14 will be on campus to share information about summer internships and entry-level analyst positions at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm that serves leading businesses, governments, non governmental organizations, and not-for-profits. Max is a Senior Business Analyst with McKinsey’s Private Equity / Principal Investors practice. He is primarily focused on conducting market due diligence on potential targets in a variety of industries including software, industrials, fintech, and consumer/retail.
