The Center for Community Engagement

The Open Door Clinic, based in Middlebury, provides access to quality healthcare services, free of charge, to uninsured and under-insured adults in Addison County. This fall, we are looking for people who can either speak Spanish or who are certified EMTs (whether fluent in Spanish or not). The training will provide information about the clinic, the population it serves and techniques on how to be a medical interpreter, facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking medical providers.

The NESCAC Votes Summit is a two-day event hosted by Middlebury College in collaboration with NESCAC partner institutions and the All In Democracy Challenge. NESCAC Votes Summit will gather students, staff, and faculty members in order to collaborate, learn, and develop strategies to increase campus voter turnout for the upcoming national elections.

Sign-up to participate in a community-based project working with youth hosted by the Center for Community Engagement. Monday, January 21st 1pm-4pm.
