The Center for Community Engagement

The Cross Cultural Community Service Fund (CCCS) celebrates 10 years of intercultural service, learning, and community-building. CCCS participants will share their learning and their experiences and we will thank Middlebury alumnus Jay Dunn ‘87 for establishing and supporting the fund throughout our first ten years. Interested in cross cultural community service? Want to share your experiences or consider new ones? Please join us. RSVP by Thursday 10/31 at go/cccsrsvp. Lunch provided. Spaces limited.

Join us at DKE House

Stop by for coffee, bagels, and apple cider donuts, and learn about ways students can get involved with community, here and around the globe. Come hear from current students and CCE staff members! Through classroom-community connections, democracy initiatives, volunteer opportunities, student service organizations, internships, and funding resources, students collaborate with communities (near and far), developing civic skills and dispositions.

Come hear about how you can join the Center for Community Engagement in a full-time position! The current CCE AmeriCorps VISTA member and VISTA supervisor will talk about the Youth and Mentoring Programs AmeriCorps VISTA role, what it means to be an AmeriCorps member, and all of the amazing benefits of serving in this capacity for the CCE! This opportunity is available to graduating seniors!

Interested in being a catalyst for change? AmeriCorps volunteers work alongside community leaders to fight poverty, develop job opportunities, increase access to education and housing, promote healthy living, and much more. During this panel discussion, you will learn about different AmeriCorps programs, hear from current volunteers, and have the opportunity to ask questions.

LOCATION: CTLR Lounge, Davis Family Library
