Student Views and Experiences Working with the Center for Nonproliferation Studies

Center for Nonproliferation Studies faculty and a panel of students who have recently worked in nonproliferation will get together for a chance to discuss current issues in nonproliferation and student’s experiences working in this field. . We will discuss some current issues in nonproliferation, such as North Korea, and invite students to share their perspective on work in these areas.

The UN Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty: Delegitimizing Nuclear Weapons: The panel discussion will give information about the process of negotiating and passing the Treaty, the ratification process, etc. The Panel also discuss the current nuclear weapons situations, and various perspectives toward the Ban Treaty. We would also like to mention the important role of civil society and education.
