Creating Art Together

The Creating Art Together Organization on campus is hosting a gallery style showcase open to all Middlebury students looking to share their artwork in the Center Gallery in McCullough. Students hoping to participate should register through the Creating Art Together Organization at go/catshowcase

Ever wanna make your own pizza for lunch? Come to the knoll on Oct 2 Sunday 10 am-2 pm CAT x Knoll for a fun pizza decorating event and a relaxing lunch together! Channel your creativity this fall by making and decorating your very own pizza with the fresh harvest from The Knoll! You can also pick flowers from the Knoll during the event and take them home for refreshing room decor. The event is free of charge and is vegan-friendly.

In the first hour of the event we will hold a student art market where students can display/sell their art, it will be held in the main and downstairs floors of the AFC. In the second hour of the event, we will eat food and give out stress busters for our members. We will clean up after the event is over and make sure trash is properly disposed.

Join CAT for pot painting! We will paint clay pots using paint markers. You can have the option of planting seeds or a plant. Learn about how to take care of the plants including herbs and succulents! No art experience required. First come first serve.

Join us for rock painting at The House, a non-profit organization for international and BIPOC students! The House is located in the town of Middlebury and we will provide transportation. We will supply rocks, paint markers and even goggle eyes!

Join Fire and CAT for landscape painting at Bristol Ledges! We will hike 1.5 miles up to the viewpoint to paint, and hike down at sunset. Meet at ADK with sturdy shoes and warm layers, art supplies will be provided. No hiking or art experience required! Sign up at go/ideal .

In this CAT workshop, we will learn to do beginner nail art. We would have the option to use dotting tools, striping brushes, or simply come and paint your nails with us! No prior experience needed, and the materials provided are polishes, removers, nail files, and other tools.

Join us for a crochet workshop! No experience required and all supplies are provided! Check out go/crochet and go/crochets to sign up. Date and Location: Axin 220 - Friday February 25th. All attendees must follow Covid-19 guidelines and clean up materials after the event.
