CIA Open Source Simulation

Representatives from the CIA’s Open Source Enterprise invite you to take part in a simulation of open source intelligence analysis. Students will be posed real-world problems related to nonproliferation, counterterrorism, and global issues and asked to find and analyze open source information. Students will have the opportunity to use their research skills, linguistic abilities, and knowledge gained from their course of study. We ask that students bring computers to the session in order to fully participate in the simulation.

Central Intelligence Agency Open Source Center (OSC) - Interviews and Office Hours

Office Hours and Interviews will be held in rooms in CACS dept in McCone Office Hours: Monday, September 28th, 12-4 PM (CACS in McCone) Students can sign up in Zócalo for a 15 minute slot during this time period. Interviews Only: Tuesday, September 29th, 9-11:30 AM, 2-5 PM Students interested in being considered for an interview should bring a resume to an office hours’ session or to the simulation. Central Intelligence Agency Information Session

Information session for students to find out more about working for the CIA, with special focus on the Open Source Center. Directorates represented will most likely include Open Source, Operations (Clandestine Service) and Analytical. Three experienced panalists will be there to answer student questions about the “day in the life” of working in the CIA and provide insights into the opportunities available.

Join recipient of the 2012 Distinguished Alumni Award, Scott Webb (MPA ’07), from Catholic Relief Services who will host an info session to discuss the International Development Fellows Program. Catholic Relief Services is one of the largest humanitarian agencies, serving in more than 90 countries worldwide. They are currently recruiting for the International Development Fellows Program (IDFP). If you are interested in entering into a long-term career in International Development, the IDFP might be the program for you.
