This one hour training program will certify an individual as a Crowd Manager for a three year period. A certified Crowd Manager is required for any event where the assembled capacity exceeds 50 or more people.

American Heart Association certified 8 hour class, covering Adult First Aid, CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course is free for students, faculty and staff (including family members).

While an active threat on campus, also called active shooter or armed threat, is unlikely, the results of such an incident can be tragic. Middlebury College has therefore approved a community education program created by members of the college’s Emergency Management Team to provide you with guidance on preparing your personal safety plan should the worst occur. This one and a half hour training program is required for anyone who will drive a College vehicle, including rental of a College passenger vehicle or 15-passenger van. There is no cost for the class. NOTE: A driving orientation (a 1 hour review on the road) is required for 15-passenger vans and larger vehicles. You must have also had a valid state driver’s license for at least 3 years in order to drive a 15-passenger van.
