This is an information session for all Middlebury students planning to study at the School in Jordan or the School in Morocco during the 2020-2021 academic year.

Come to this information session to learn about the Freeman-Asia Scholarship for U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. Monica Galbraith, a Middlebury student who studied abroad in Korea and was a recipient of this scholarship, will present the session.

Graduate Students Headed to Germany for 2019-20 should plan to meet your director, Heike Fahrenberg for important information pertaining to your year abroad.

This session provides general information about study abroad with a discussion of how it fits into a student’s overall academic experience, how the application process works, and study abroad finances. For sophomores interested in studying economics while abroad. This meeting is not restricted to one area of the world, but rather to students who want to figure out where to best study ECON.

This meeting is for students applying to DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia (Copenhagen or Stockholm) for 2019-20. Malene Torp, Executive Director of DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia, will be at this meeting to meet applicants and talk about what it will be like to be a DIS student.

A one-hour, lunchtime discussion group for study abroad returnees to share their experiences and advice with prospective study abroad students. Students should bring their own lunches.

A series of one-hour lunchtime discussion groups for study abroad returnees and prospective study abroad students to discuss topics related to identity and study abroad. Each group session will focus on a particular topic, guided by student interest. Session topics will be announced closer to the group discussion dates.
