Calling all people interested in Japanese Culture, World History, History and Culture of Indigenous Peoples, Linguistics, East Asian Studies, and Film! We will be doing a Screening of Naomi Mizoguchi’s 2019 Documentary “Ainu: Indigenous People of Japan!” Prior to the documentary, we will be doing a small presentation about Ainu Culture and answering any basic questions concerning. After the documentary, we have the wonderful opportunity to be meeting the Documentary’s creator Naomi Mizoguchi over zoom! We will be able to ask her questions concerning the Ainu People and filmmaking!
