Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith Concert

Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith is an innovative experimental electronic musical artist from Orcas Island, Washington State. She creates intricate soundscapes inspired by nature, built from synthetic, electronic elements. Her most recent solo studio album, EARS, was released in April 2016 to universal critical acclaim. Clash Music described it as “a magnificent aural topography of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith’s inspired imagination.” Mark Richardson of Pitchfork described it as “hard-to-pin-down music for the spaces in-between… .

Jonathan Kalin "Party With Consent" Speaker

Jonathan Kalin is a sexual educator who founded the organization, Party With Consent. Party with Consent aims to educate students about consent through a variety of accessible and creative means such as interactive workshops, lectures, and actual ‘parties with consent’ which give away consent themed apparel and condoms to provide student based visual support on campus. Kalin, a former varsity basketball player at Colby College, also speaks to notions of masculinity and the role of gender in consent.
