This event will feature an hour and a half panel discussion on the ethical and psychological dimensions of climate change: What are the responsibilities of those who know about the extent of the threat? Are they obligated to trumpet it at every opportunity, and/or massively alter their normal mode of living? How does one manage the anxiety and despair that attends an understanding of the bleakness of the science? How do we address not just scientific denial but emotional disavowal of climate reality?

The Middlebury Debate Society will hold an interest meeting on February 25th in BiHall 219 at 5pm. Stop by to hang out with some cool people and get the inside scoop on debate. We will be covering everything from debate formats, to travel tournaments, to college life in general. Also, we will have regular and gluten-free pizza, so skip the lame dining hall and come hang out with us tonight! Everyone is welcome— whether you are a returning member, or you have never done debate before, we would love for you all to be there.
