This will be workshop on stress management available to all in the MIIS community. When harnessed effectively, stress can be a source of energy and motivation. However, all too often, we let stress build to unmanageable levels, allowing it to impact our physical and mental health. During this seminar, participants will learn about common stressors, symptoms of stress and how to respond to demands in their personal, academic and professional lives.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month Community Film Screening and Panel Discussion

The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center and the Office of Student Services present a community film screening of the Frontline documentary “Rape on the Nightshift.” This will be followed by a panel discussion on the “Criminalization of Migration and the Migrants’ Struggle for Justice. Panelists include: Dr. William Arrocha; Magnolia Zarraga, Immigration Attorney; and Majia West and Clare Mounteer from the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center.
