MIIS- Student Affairs

The Center for Social Impact Learning welcomes students from all MIIS programs to attend our information session about how to join the MIIS Micro-Enterprise Consultant Group starting next semester. This group will be part of the CSIL Microfinance Initiative working with entrepreneurs in Salinas and we will discuss how you can join to benefit local enterprises, particularly entrepreneurs who lack access to traditional financing options. Our main client will present and give examples of the tasks that consultants will focus on.

The Globadores will be hosting a fundraiser Happy Hour at Cibo’s Thursday February 25 from 4-8pm. The Middlebury Institute of International Studies Fútbol Club (The MIIS FC Globadores) is a competitive soccer team for students, faculty, and staff of the Middlebury Institute. MIIS FC plays in the Monterey Peninsula Soccer League, where we compete against both community and school teams. We are chronically underfunded due to large league fees, field fees and equipment expenses, and thus, need your help!

Celebrate Earth Day with the MIIS Sustainability Council! The fair will be held on April 21st and will include a sustainable top-chef competition, upcycled art/”Trashion Show”, bike pop-up repair stand, garbage games, and more!
