LiNK x MIIS presents an end-of-the-semester film screening and pizzas! From the visionary director of Oldboy, Park Chan-wook, comes a twisty murder mystery set in the most dangerous border in the world - the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) which separates North and South Korea - where a young North Korean soldier is shot and killed. A South Korean soldier is considered the prime suspect in the murder investigation. The question remains, what happened that night of the fatal shootout?

Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) x MIIS is holding a documentary screening and a special talk! The documentary “Jangmadang Generation” follows the narratives of North Korean millennials who represent the positive changes taking place within North Korea: marketization, information flows, and formation of human networks, to name a few. Following the documentary screening, we’ll have a guest speaker, who will share his story about life in North Korea, escape to China, and resettlement in the U.S.
