Paddle the calm waters of Elkhorn Slough and enjoy the opportunity to observe wildlife (including adorable sea otters)! This kayaking trip will be for all experience levels. Pricing includes kayak ental & accessories, transportation, and a light snack. Drivers will be reimbursed for mileage from the ODRC. We will be charging participants a $20/person fee (includes kayak rental & accessories, transportation, and snack). This rate is discounted from the standard rental prices at Monterey Bay Kayaks.

The Wetlands Club @ MIIS will take a kayaking field trip to Moss Landing on Saturday May 5th. We will leave around 9 or 10AM, drive to Moss Landing, rent kayaks, and spend a few hours kayaking the slough. Return time will be in the afternoon. Cost will be around 30$ for kayak (group rate pending on number of participants).

International Student Club will discuss the upcoming event for International students on campus. We aim to support international students to fit in American culture and present their culture to foreigners.

In today’s world, International Trade has become a complex web of relationships between countries which are expanding at an unprecedented rate. Technology has played a significant role by lowering multiple layers of costs and integrating an array of disciplines within its scope such as digital trade and intellectual property rights. However, even as we see the influence of rapid technological advances on international trade, political rhetoric influenced by nationalistic views has led many countries to shift their focus to bilateral agreements from the multilateral system under the WTO.

This workshop is an opportunity to revisit the information presented in the International Student Orientation session held during orientation week. If you have questions about the information presented during the International Student Orientation session, need additional clarification about how to maintain status, or just want to review the information that was presented, please plan on attending this workshop.
