Join us for the final MIRA event of the semester as we bring you the second part of The Venezuelan Experience through ¡Mira Who’s Cooking! Join us alongside our new StuCo President, Morgan Moore, as a Venezuelan refugee guides us in making AREPAS!

We are excited to present Marty Pfeiffer, an anthropologist, and nuclear abolitionist who studies how we create and circulate meaning about, with, and through nuclear weapons and technology. Marty will discuss the importance of the Freedom of Information Act and how to use it to request previously unreleased information from the United States Government. Marty Pfeiffer is a PhD candidate at the University of New Mexico.

The CTBTO Youth Group @ MIIS has been hard at work establishing a closer relationship with the global CYG and are happy to announce our first joint event.
Join us for a trivia night with the national and international CTBTO Youth Group! Try your hand at our nuclear and CTBT- related trivia game for a chance to win a ticket to an upcoming CTBTO event! We’ll have other prizes available, too!

QAAAM is hosting a watch party for Your Name Engraved Herein, a gay romance set in post-martial law Taiwan. We’ll be watching via Netflix Party and will send out the link via email the morning of the event!
