Student Success Series - Mindfulness to Cultivate Awareness of the Body

Mindfulness is a way of being that is present, curious, accepting, and kind. When we exist in our bodies consciously and nourish ourselves mindfully, we are accessing a way of being that is present with, informed by, and compassionate toward our direct experience. In this workshop we’ll offer a brief introduction to mindfulness and experience practices of body awareness and mindful eating. Please bring a few bites of lunch or a snack for your practice! This workshop is offered as part of the Student Success Series through Student Services.
