Have you ever wondered how Twitter can be used in quantitative research? To find out, join us for the finale of our R series on September 20th. Intro to Twitter Mining in R will cover the basics of how to analyze and process text data to get meaningful information out of a set of Tweets, a selection of news articles, or entire books. It will cover topics such as breaking apart sentences into words, counting word frequency over time, graphing frequencies for comparison, and basic sentiment analysis.
