Monterey County is no exception; the palpable terror of family separation, detention, and deportation felt throughout the region has transformed the way residents live and work.

Learn How to Belay

Hey Climbers, Are you a beginner Climber? Want to learn how to belay? Now is your time. Before we go to the gym, a student-led volunteer session on how to belay for Top Rope will be hosted at the Garden from 5:00 to 6:00 on Friday the 28th. All gear is supplied for the session. Then we will car-pool to the climbing gym from 6:30 to 8:30 to put these new skills to work and receive additional instruction from the Rock Gym. Gear Rentals are provided at the gym.
