This week our discussion topic is going to be: has there been a moment (or moments) that really impacted the way you thought about being mixed and what that means? As always, everyone is welcome; come join us!

This meeting will be a Zoom space open to everyone, all Middlebury students and faculty, to have an open discussion on how to ask people about their heritage (without being insensitive), perceived proximity to whiteness, and the idea of identifying with more than one race. We will also provide a safe space for people to share their individual stories with these topics. We hope that this will be a learning experience for everyone involved, and a good way to help everyone see from other people’s perspectives. 

Welcome back, everyone! This week we will have a low-key meeting to chat about break, J-term, and next semester, and discuss recent political events.

This week, for our last meeting of the semester, our discussion topic is holidays: sharing experiences and talking about navigating family and traditions. All are welcome!

This week, our discussion topic will be the idea that mixed people are an “answer” to racism, or that the existence of mixed race people helps counter racism. As always, everyone is welcome!
