Freecycle Event

In an effort to continue our goal of recyclingreducing, and reusing in an environmentally friendly way, we are offering gently used, somewhat used, and REALLY used supplies, household items, file folders, chairs, bookshelves, random furniture, and computers in three locations on a first come, first serve basis on August 30 from 9AM – 12PM.

MIIS Winter Commencement 2024

We are pleased to announce Winter Commencement will be celebrated on Saturday,
December 14, 2024 at 1:00PM Pacific Time at the Irvine Auditorium, McCone Building, 499
Pierce Street, Monterey, CA. Doors open at noon. Tickets will be required to attend.
A reception immediately following ceremony at Samson Student Center.

You are invited to attend the ASILOMAR ‘24 Festival – a vibrant event that is organized by the editors of the “Literary America” almanac, with generous support from the Russian Library and Cultural Center (Sacramento) and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (Monterey). The event organizers support a peaceful resolution to the war in the Ukraine and hope to share the cultural heritage of both Russians and Ukrainians to promote understanding of their cultures.
