Stephen Diehl

Stephen is a member of our public affairs team with a special focus on news, social media, and strategic initiatives across all of Middlebury’s schools and programs. He works closely with the vice president for public affairs, director of media relations, social media strategist, and web content producer to support Middlebury’s priorities. He also serves on the crisis communications team.

Prior to his position at Middlebury, he was director of communications at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont, and previously served as director of communications at the Orvis Company in Manchester, Vermont. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University with a double major in English and communications, and a master’s degree in advertising and public relations from Marquette University.
