Fitzgerald joins the sports medicine team in the fall of 2021. She comes to Middlebury from Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Magnolia, AR where she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology through Southern Arkansas.  

While at SAU, Fitzgerald worked with their men’s and women’s tennis and cross-country teams. She was also a preceptor for the school’s undergraduate athletic training students which she enjoyed. Prior to SAU, Fitzgerald worked as a temporary hire at Middlebury College in 2019. She worked with the Panther volleyball team as well as the men’s and women’s cross-country teams.  

Fitzgerald received her bachelor’s degrees in athletic training and health science from Castleton University in 2019. While there, she enjoyed her clinical rotations as a student at Killington Medical clinic, Middlebury College, Rutland Regional Medical Center, and many of the Spartan sports teams.
