My name is Bethany and I use she/her pronouns. I grew up in northern Vermont and have continued my educational and career path in central Vermont.

I received my bachelor of health science and athletic training from Castleton University in 2019. I have also completed my master study in kinesiology and coaching administration as of 2022. I hold a dry needling certification and plan on continuing my education through mental health and nutritional certifications geared towards sports medicine. I joined Middlebury College in 2019 as an athletic trainer for the fall semester. From fall 2020 to spring 2021, I was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Southern Arkansas University, a division ll school in southwest Arkansas. I loved the relationships I made with other work colleagues as well as creating good relationships with my athletes. I returned to Middlebury College during the summer of 2021 and have enjoyed continuing my athletic training career as well as continuing education opportunities.

My approach to my work includes looking at an athlete’s capabilities not just physically, but mentally as well. I consider myself a huge advocate for athlete well-being and mental health. I also have recently become interested in athlete nutrition and the different nutritional needs of the vastly wide athletic population.

Things that currently bring me happiness include walking and hiking with my dog, Margarita, and traveling and visiting friends all over the country.
