Eric López

Eric López, Senior Human Relations Officer, leads the civil rights investigatory and adjudicative functions of Middlebury College.  He has been deeply committed to principles of fairness, equity and due process since the start of his career, first as a criminal defense attorney and later as a prosecutor in Vermont.  During his time as a prosecutor his caseload was primarily comprised of domestic violence matters.  He is a native of Puerto Rico and graduate of Marquette University and Vermont Law School.  He worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, an academic medical center, where his duties included addressing workplace harassment and discrimination through workplace investigations and education.
