The spacious plaza area of the MAC features an entrance to the Museum of Art and is a popular spot for outdoor events.
The Olin C. Robison Concert Hall, named for Middlebury’s 13th president, is an acoustical marvel with a 27-foot by 40-foot elliptical stage and a wraparound balcony.
The Seeler Studio Theatre is a modern black-box theater with flexible seating for up to 165 audience members, a full catwalk system, and a fully equipped shop adjacent to it.
The welcoming plaza of the MAC is often used for outdoor performances and celebratory campus events.
In the spring of 2015, London-based street and graffiti artist Ben Eine, during a weeklong residency at the Museum of Art, reimagined the museum’s lobby entrance.
The MAC is active all yearlong, hosting performances and activities for students, faculty, staff, and the broader Middlebury community.
Our state-of-the-art dance theater and rehearsal studio offer adjacent dressing rooms, a student lounge, an anatomy lab, and offices for our faculty and staff.
