Sarah loves to partner with university students and community members in order to catalyze transformative initiatives in the service of a more just and peaceful world. 

As the Assistant Director for Projects for Peace, Sarah focuses on developing partnerships, programming, and training strategies to advance the goals of Projects for Peace. This includes providing guidance in the areas of community engagement, intercultural competence, and student project management, as well as the integration of conflict transformation themes in working with students and partner institutions around the world.

Sarah’s work in community-based service learning and experiential education spans more than a decade. Prior to joining Projects for Peace, Sarah lived in Udaipur, India, where she directed the Novogratz Princeton University Bridge Year Program. She also facilitated study abroad programs and experiential travel programs throughout South Asia. Sarah has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, a graduate certificate in Conflict Transformation from the School for International Training, and studied Creative Writing at Dartmouth College. 

Originally from southern California, Sarah has a background in community agriculture and enjoys hiking, bird watching, and sharing food together preferably with a strong cup of chai.
