I have been the director of the Center for Teaching, Learning & Research since July 2013.   My principal goal as the CTLR's director is to ensure high-level support for students and faculty.

I am also the Dean for Faculty Development and Research, and I devote much of my time to working with new faculty, organizing programming on teaching and learning, and helping faculty of all ranks realize their professional aspirations.

I have taught at Middlebury in the History department since 1989.
