My name is Brittany and I use she/her pronouns. I grew up locally in Williston, VT, and after high school spent more than 15 years out of the state before settling back in the green mountains in the summer of 2022. I completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!) in 2009 with concentration in biology and sociology. I moved to Philadelphia in 2010 and graduated from the Drexel University College of Medicine in 2015. New England quickly called me back – and I completed 4 years of adult psychiatry training at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program in Boston, followed by 2 years of child/adolescent psychiatry training at Brown. After completing my training in 2021, I spent a year working as an attending psychiatrist at Bradley Hospital (a children’s psychiatric hospital) in Providence, RI. I worked as an inpatient attending on a unit for children with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as an attending at a partial hospitalization program for children with OCD and other anxiety disorders. When my partner completed law school, we made the decision to settle back in the beautiful state of Vermont. I am so grateful to be able to be on-site at Middlebury College one day per week to meet with students on campus. In addition, I work as a child/adolescent psychiatrist at the Counseling Service of Addison County just down the road in Middlebury, and remotely for the Clara Martin Center in Randolph. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two dogs, Moose and Joon. We love being outdoors, staying active, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family including our 7 (soon to be 8!) nieces and nephews.
