I believe in philanthropy and I believe in Middlebury, and I think most alumni are already motivated to support the College, even if they haven’t managed to act on it yet. The 25th Reunion is a good time to start. We’re not asking everyone to make a major gift; we’re asking people to participate and to make their largest commitment to date. Some people who aren’t regular donors might consider making a special gift in honor of our 25th. Some might consider stretching by pledging a larger gift to be made over several years. And the 25th is a great time to think about including Middlebury in our estate plans.
